The Festival de Cornouaille in Quimper

Organised each year since 1923 during the last weekend in July, the Festival de Cornouaille highlights Breton culture in all its diversity and wealth.
In all, nearly 200 events are organised in the streets of Quimper, on the quays of the Odet river, but also in the cathedral and the theatre, in the large public squares, and other venues. Shows, concerts and activities punctuate the weekend for the greatest delight of the 200,000 festival-goers strolling each year in the streets and alleyways of the town-centre, in a convivial and warm atmosphere!
The Festival de Cornouaille is one of largest cultural events in Brittany.
